Let me share something personal with you - I used to be an emotional eater, and it wasn't an easy road to overcome.
As a health professional, I got completely caught up in what I thought was the "right" way to maintain a healthy weight. You know the drill - counting every calorie, weighing all my food, tracking macros down to the last gram.
On paper, it looked perfect. I was following all the "rules."
But here's what was really happening: While everything looked fine from the outside, I was quietly struggling with my relationship with food. I found myself saving calories for the evening, compensating with extra steps when I overate, trying to maintain this image of perfect healthy eating... but deep down, I had no real boundaries around food.
The more I tried to control everything, the more emotional eating crept into my life.
It wasn't a healthy way to live, and I knew something had to change.
That personal journey with emotional eating sparked something in me - a deep drive to understand the science and psychology behind why smart, capable people struggle with food. While my background started in science (with an MSci in Geosciences), my passion led me to extensively study the intersection of psychology, nutrition and behaviour change.
I've dedicated myself to understanding every aspect of this challenge, becoming qualified as:
A Precision Nutrition (PN) Coach
An ACT Therapist, specialising in emotional eating
A Master Practitioner of NLP
Master Practitioner of Hypnotherapy
An Emotional Eating & Behavioural Change Coach
But I didn't stop there. I'm constantly expanding my expertise through:
Level 3 Counselling Skills (eventually studying to become a fully qualified counsellor)
Advanced certifications in ACT therapy, including specialised training in:
Trauma-Focused ACT
ACT for People Pleasing & Perfectionism
ACT for Grief and Loss
I've also mastered the physical side of transformation through qualifications as:
An Active IQ Level 4 Specialist in Physical Activity & Weight Management for Obese & Diabetic Clients
A Level 3 Personal Trainer
Pre & Postnatal Exercise Coach
Biomechanics Coach
This breaking point became my breakthrough. I started working on myself, experimenting with different approaches and discovering what actually worked. Through this process of self-healing, I began developing the unique method that would eventually become my signature approach - one that focused on psychology and genuine transformation rather than just rules and restriction.
Now, I combine my personal understanding with professional expertise to help women break free from the same cycles that once trapped me and my sister - moving beyond the tracking, the rules, and the guilt to find true food freedom.

When I'm not helping clients transform their relationship with food, you'll find me exploring the world - I've been fortunate enough to visit 50 countries and counting. This isn't just about ticking off destinations; it's about experiencing different food cultures, staying active through hiking and cycling, and capturing moments through my love of photography.
I believe in practicing what I preach. Just like I teach my clients, I enjoy food without guilt - whether that's discovering local cuisines during my travels or satisfying my weakness for Häagen-Dazs ice cream.
I stay active by hitting the gym regularly and spending time in nature.
This balance of professional expertise and real-life experience helps me understand that transformation isn't just about food - it's about creating a life where you can succeed in your career, enjoy social experiences, maintain your health, and still have room for ice cream.
